I have been massaging, teaching, writing and editing for over fifteen years. I am a licensed massage therapist, and a graduate of Vassar College and the Swedish Institute of Health Sciences. I have massaged across the gamut – from the US Open Tennis Tournament to a hospice, from a wellness center to too many spas to count – and now feel very fortunate to run my own private practice in New York City, Full Breath Massage.

My work is a blend of Swedish, deep tissue, and myofascial; each session is built around facilitating the client’s full, easy breath, and facilitating the client’s own somatic awareness.

I work on everyone from Broadway performers to account managers, from new moms to grandmoms. I believe we can all benefit from therapeutic massage; I believe we can all breathe fully.

I have developed and taught continuing education courses around the country, from the Swedish Institute to the AMTA National Convention, and also online.

I am also a co-author of the Third Edition of Pre- and Perinatal Massage Therapy (Handspring Limited 2021), and a proud member of Carole Osborne’s teaching team of pre- and perinatal massage therapy workshops.

My aim, for my clients and students and readers, is to encourage us all to inhabit our bodies more fully, so that we can do the things we love with greater ease and effectiveness.
